Flinders Street Station

I just attended an exhibition celebrating a new book about the history of Flinders Street Station: Beyond the façade, by Jenny Davies. The exhibition of photographs and blueprints is at the Victorian Railways Institute office on the ground floor of the station building. The Institute once provided an incredible array of services for Victorian Railways staff, including a library, bowling club, classes and dancing. Alas the library is now defunct.
