Library lovers day

Today is Valentine's day, or more properly, library lovers day.

In celebration of library lovers day I received a beautiful card with a motif of turquoise convolvulus. I never realised convolvulous had such romantic connotations, but I am now resolved to tend my straggly specimens carefully and savour the elusive blue flowers when they deign to appear.

The Scottish Poetry Library (@ByLeavesWeLive) posted some beautiful lines on twitter:
'If you sent me a postcard with three Xs and told me how you felt
I wouldn’t thank you, I’d melt.'
These lines are from a poem by the Scottish poet Liz Lochhead. The full text of the poem is available in confuzzledom's blog.

Happy Valentine's and/or library lovers day to everyone.
